Celebrating Wyoming Pride: Chugwater Chili’s Exciting NIL Partnership with the University of Wyoming
At Chugwater Chili, we’ve always been proud to call Wyoming home. For nearly 40 years, our small-town company has brought bold, award-winning flavor to kitchens across the state and around the world. This season, we’re thrilled to deepen our Wyoming roots with an exciting new partnership: an NIL collaboration with University of Wyoming Cowboy Football tight end John Michael Gyllenborg, joined by a special appearance from Grace Wicks, daughter of the University of Wyoming’s Head Basketball Coach Sundance Wick’s.
This partnership embodies everything we love about Wyoming—community, grit, pride, a little humor, and outstanding Cowboy spirit.

A Proud NIL Collaboration with Wyoming Athletics
Our new NIL ad highlights what truly matters to us: supporting Wyoming athletes and celebrating the traditions that make our state unique. John Michael Gyllenborg, one of the Cowboy Football team’s standout players, brings both heart and talent to the field—qualities we deeply admire. Paired with Grace Wicks’ energy and enthusiasm for being on screen, this collaboration captures the pure excitement that surrounds every game day in Laramie. We also added a little humor in with Grace's questions for John on why he enjoys Chugwater Chili, then at the end where she cutely asks if he has a girlfriend, it is priceless.
Showcasing Wyoming athletes and families isn’t just marketing for us—it’s a way to invest back into the community that has supported Chugwater Chili for nearly four decades.
Partnering with Wyoming student-athletes helps elevate local talent, uplift our community, and strengthen the connection between small Wyoming businesses and Wyoming Athletics.
We’re honored to stand alongside the Cowboys and the passionate fans who support them.
