Easy Stovetop Steak Tacos

This easy stovetop steak taco recipe is a flavorful treat for any time of the week. Marinated in a zesty marinade seasoned with our chili seasoning, these tacos are healthy, delicious, and will become a favorite treat.

Tacos are usually an easy meal to create any time of the week especially when you have a busy schedule and need something fast to make for lunch or dinner. They are healthy, nutritious, and filling. Plus, there are so many toppings you can choose to add to your tacos. The possibilities are endless.

This stovetop steak taco recipe is a flavorful treat seasoned with our chili seasoning in a zesty marinade that is easy to make. Plus, you can cook this recipe any time of the year on your stove instead of having to turn your oven on or grill so you can cook. This will become your new got to easy steak taco recipe for when you feel like tasty steak tacos.  You can even meal prep with them to create easy low carb or keto-friendly meals.

Marinating the Steak Taco Meat

Cut 1 pound of flank steak or sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces.

In a small bowl combine 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 2 tablespoons canola oil, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, 1 1/2 tablespoons Chugwater Chili Seasoning or Chugwater Chili Hot Chili Seasoning if you want it spicier.

Place the cut steak into a medium bowl and stir the marinade into the meat. 

Let marinate for at least an hour but no more than 4 hours.  The longer you marinate the more the steak pieces will tenderize and soak in the taco flavor.

Cooking the Marinated Steak on the Stove

Place the marinated meat in a medium skillet. Cook the meat until the meat is browned on the sides. Once the meat is cooked you can serve the tacos.

When serving these tacos, you have a variety of options. You can serve them with your favorite tortillas or even make a taco or burrito bowl with rice and black beans out of it.
