Easy Beef Tacos
ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 tablespoons Chugwater Chili Gourmet Blend
- Shredded cheddar
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Chugwater Southwest Style Seasoning Dip

How to cook Easy Beef Tacos
- Toss ground beef with 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoons water. Let the meat sit for 20 minutes. The baking soda locks the water in the beef so that during cooking, the beef browns nicely and stays moist.
- In a heavy bottomed pan on medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no pink remains. Use a pastry cutter to chop the beef into small pieces.
- Add 3 tablespoons of Chugwater Chili Gourmet Blend, more or less to taste.
- Stir the Chugwater Chili Gourmet Blend into the ground beef and serve with flour tortillas, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and Chugwater Chili Southwest Style Seasoning Dip mixed with sour cream.
