Easy Egg Salad

This easy egg salad recipe will help you solve your egg overload any time of the year. Using 3 ingredients you mix hard boiled eggs with mayo and our southwestern flavored dip-dressing mix, and voila! a yummy snack and easy lunch for the week.

You can meal prep this recipe at the beginning of the week and create dishes including sandwiches or egg salad and crackers. This recipe is also easily adaptable if you wish to add any extra vegetables to it or customize it for your tastes.

How to Boil Eggs

The easiest way to boil eggs is to boil a pot of water over high heat. Then you need to reduce the heat to low. Add your eggs and cook 4 to 5 minutes. Drain the hot water and place the eggs in ice eater. This helps cool the eggs but also makes it easier to peel them.

You can also place water and the eggs in a pot. Make sure there is about an inch of water covering the eggs. Then boil the eggs for about 8-10 minutes. Drain and put them in ice water.

How to Peel Hard Boiled Eggs

To peel the eggs, you will need take the eggs out of the cold water and crack the shell. You can crack the shell all around the egg by tapping it. Then you will need to gently peel the shell off. Some people like to roll the eggs and break the shell too. It is up to your which method works best for you.

How to Make Easy Egg Salad

Once you have the shell off the eggs you will want to slice/dice the egg into small bite sized pieces. Then add in ¼ cup of creamy mayonnaise and 1 tsp Chugwater Chili Dip-Dressing Mix. Stir it all together.

How to Serve Egg Salad

Now you are ready to serve this easy egg salad recipe. Some options of ways to serve it are.

  • Make a sandwich using your favorite bread.
  • Scoop it up with your favorite crackers.
