Green Chile Pork Chops

This green chile pork chop recipe is a quick and easy recipe. Our green chili seasoning adds flavor and spice to this easy pork recipe. It is a great recipe that can be served any time of the year.

Pork chops are often a fun type of meat to use when cooking. You can fry them, grill them, or bake them. They can be an easy weeknight dinner to put together. It is always fun to find a new way to prepare your pork chops whether it be a new glaze for them, new seasoning, or other tasty ways to eat them. 

This green chile pork chop recipe is an easy low carb and a keto-friendly way to prepare your pork chops. It is a quick and easy pork chop recipe that features our savory green chili seasoning in a green chile cream cheese sauce. This will quickly become a new favorite way to prepare your pork chops. 

Ingredients for green chile pork chops, 8 oz cream cheese, chugwater chili green chili seasoning, 4 oz diced green chilies, shredded mexican cheese

How to Prepare the Pork Chops 

In a medium skillet sear each side of the pork chops. For this recipe, you will need about 2 pounds of pork chops or 4 large pork chops. These can be boneless or bone-in whichever you prefer. You can season each side with some of the Chugwater Chili Green Chili Seasoning to give them more flavor.

They do not have to be cooked all the way through because you will be baking them with a green chile cream cheese mixture on top. 

Preparing the Green Chile Cream Cheese Sauce 

In a small bowl mix together 8 ounces cream cheese that has been softened, 4 oz of diced green chilies, and 1 tablespoon Chugwater Chili Green Chili Seasoning.

Cooking the Pork Chops 

Baking Option 

Place the seared pork chops in a baking dish. You can also season each side with extra Chugwater Chili Green Chili Seasoning if you want more of the green chile flavor.

Spread the green chile cream cheese mixture on the pork chops. Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked through.

Add a cup of shredded Mexican or fiesta blend cheese to the top and cook until it has melted.

Grilling Option

Place the seared pork chops in a foil pan. Add the green chile cream cheese mixture to the top. 

Grill at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the pork chops are fully cooked. 

Add a cup of shredded Mexican or fiesta blend cheese to the top and cook until it has melted.
