This seasoned roasted potato recipe is the perfect recipe for any occasion. Using our southwestern dip & dressing seasoning, these potatoes are savory and delicious. This potato recipe is simple using only 3 ingredients and will have the family coming back for more.

Potatoes are a common staple in most kitchens. They are an affordable and easy side dish that can be prepared with any meal. This root vegetable is grown and served all over the world. In France they are called “le pomme de terre” or fruit of the earth. There is a huge history involved with this simple vegetable, but they continue to be grown and ate by people around the world.

There are many ways to prepare potatoes. You can bake them, mash them, slice them, and much more.  Some potato recipes can be complicated, and some can be easy. Our seasoned roasted potato recipe is an easy and delicious dish to make for any occasion. With only 3 ingredients these potatoes will make your taste buds dance with joy. 

How to Cut the Potatoes

Start by gathering 4-6 potatoes depending on size. Wash the potatoes with warm water. For this dish you can keep the peel on the potato. But if you feel more comfortable with taking the peel off you can. Then you will need to dice the potatoes into bite sized pieces. If you want to use a different cut, you can but dicing the potatoes helps to ensure you can have flavor in each bite.

How to Season Potatoes

To season the potatoes, you will need to place the diced potatoes into either a large bowl or a plastic freezer bag. Now add 3 Tablespoons of olive oil (or an oil of your choice) and 4 Tablespoons of Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Mix to the bag with the diced potatoes. Mix with a spoon or shake in the bag until the potatoes are coated with the seasoning and oil. Now you have seasoned potatoes.

How to Bake Roasted Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. On a cookie sheet or in a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray, place the seasoned potatoes. Bake for at least 40 minutes, stirring the potatoes every 20 minutes to ensure the sides get browned. If you want the potatoes to be crispier at the end of your cooking time you can switch your oven to broil and crisp the tops for about 5 minutes.

How to Serve Roasted Potatoes

Once the potatoes are golden, they are ready to eat. You can serve these potatoes with any type of meat and any type of meal. They would even be perfect for serving at potlucks or family get-togethers. Here is a list of recipes that these potatoes go well with.

Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Roasted Potatoes

There are many ways to prepare potatoes. Some can be complicated and some can be easy. Our Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Roasted Potatoes are an easy and delicious dish to make for any occasion. With only 3 ingredients these potatoes will make your taste buds dance with joy.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Large Potatoes
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Mix

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes with water. You can leave the peel on the potatoes.
  2. Dice the potatoes into bite sized pieces.
  3. Place the diced potatoes into either a large bowl or a Ziplock bag and add the olive oil and Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Mix to the potatoes. Mix or shake until the potatoes are coated with the seasoning.
  4. On a cookie sheet or in a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray, place the potatoes. Bake at 450 degrees for 1 hour or until golden, stirring the potatoes every 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot!!!
